The water temp out at Portland Head Light is almost 60 degrees and the mackerel have been EVERYWHERE! The bass have showed up and the bluefish should be hot on the tails of all these bait fish. The groundfishing remains hot hot hot! Checkout the Humpback whale photos in the photo gallery from last weekend! Some clients took home as much as 30lbs of fresh fillets! I have been taking a lot of calls for shark trips in September as of late. Just a heads up in case you have not picked a date yet! Also, I am booking June for groundishing trips latley so don't miss out on the haddockfest!! I look forward to seeing all of our returning crew on board again in 2009!
